Day 1:
Arrival in Sri Lanka.
Met and greeted at the Airport by our English speaking driver who will then transfer you in Air conditioned car/minivan to Negombo, after check in you can do a city tour with a visit to the fish market. Overnight at “Lavinia Hotel”.
Day 2
After breakfast leave for Sigiriya, visit the World Heritage Site of the Sigiriya Lion rock, where you could see the beautiful paintings of the Frescos dating back to the 5th Century AD and the marvels and skills of engineering belonging to that era. Overnight at “Sevanagama”.
Day 3
Leave on an excursion to Pollonaruwa, the 12th century capital; see the ruins of the Royal Palace, Temples and other structures of that period. On your return drive stop over for a local lunch and a bullock cart ride. Overnight at “Sevanagama”.
Day 4
Leave for Kandy end route you could visit the Dambulla rock cave temple, the fruit and vegetable market and a spice and herbal garden. Kandy is also known as the Hill Capital, and the last kingdom of Sri Lanka, a town of hustle and bustle and much beauty, the city which houses the famous Temple of the Tooth of the Lord Buddha. Visit the Temple and witness a Kandyan dance performance in the evening. Overnight at “Serene Garden Hotel”.
Day 5
After early breakfast leave for Pinnawela, the Elephant orphanage where you could observe and partake in the feeding and bathing of tamed Elephants, on your return journey you could stop over and enjoy a walk through the beautiful Peradeniya Botanical gardens, thereafter do a city tour of Kandy. Return to hotel for overnight stay at “Serene Garden Hotel”.
Day 6
Leave for Nuwara Elya, also known as little England, nestled 6,000 Ft. above sea level, a drive that will take you through scenic mountains and beautiful valleys. Victorian architecture still stands tall in all its grandeur in this little city. Overnight at “Heaven Seven”.
Day 7
After a leisurely breakfast leave for Negombo via Kithulgala where the movie “Bridge on the river Kwai” was filmed. Overnight at “Lavinia Hotel”
Day 8
Transfer to Airport for return flight.

Day 1:
Arrival in Sri Lanka.

Day 2
After breakfast leave on a city tour of Negombo and surrounding areas on Bikes, where you could witness the fishing boats coming in with its night’s catch, walk around the fish market, the Dutch Fort and the crowded bazaar. Overnight at “Lavinia Hotel”.
Day 3
Leave for Anuradhapura, the first Kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka, after checking into hotel leave on a city tour of this ancient city visiting Sites dating back to pre-historic times, also visit the Sacred Bo Tree, the oldest recorded tree in the world. Overnight stay at “Gamodh Citadel Hotel”
Day 4
After breakfast leave for Sigiriya en route visit the Aukana Buddha statue, check into hotel, in the afternoon visit the Sigiriya Lion rock, where you could see the beautiful paintings of the Frescos dating back to the 5th Century AD and the marvels and skills of engineering belonging to that era. Day 5
Go on a Jeep Safari in the Minneriya National Park, thereafter take an excursion to the ancient city of Pollonaruwa to see the ruins of a 12th Century Kingdom. Overnight at “Nice Place Resort”
Day 6
Today you will be taken on a tractor ride to explore the neighborhood with a typical local lunch included overnight at “Nice Place Resort”
Day 7
Leave for Kandy end route visit the Dambulla rock cave temple, and spice and herbal garden. You could check into your hotel and in the evening pay a visit to the temple to observe the poojas, thereafter, witness a cultural pageant of Kandyan dancers, overnight at “Hotel Senani”.
Day 8
After breakfast leave for Peradeniya Botanical gardens and enjoy the rest of the day visiting the Kandy city, return to hotel for overnight stay at “Hotel Senani”.
Day 9
Leave for Nuwara Eliya en route visiting a Tea factory to witness first-hand the tea pluckers at work and the process of the manufacture of tea. Nuwara Eliya also known as little England is nestled 6,000 Ft. above sea level, a drive which will take you through scenic mountains and beautiful valleys. Victorian architecture still stands tall in all its grandeur in this little city. Overnight at “Oak Ray Summerhill”.
Day 10
Leave for Ella, a small but lively little town where you can savour street food and lively activity. The afternoon is free for you to explore this little town. Overnight at “88 Ella”.
Day 11
Take an adventerous Tuk, Tuk ride to visit Little Adams Peak, overnight at “88 Ella”
Day 12
Commencing another day take a leisurely downhill drive to Udawalawe. Visit the Udawalawe Elephant transit Home where abandoned baby elephants are cared for and thereafter released back to the wild. Go on a Jeep Safari at the Udawalawe National, overnight at “Kottawatte Village”.
Day 13
Leave for “Blue Magpie Hotel Veddagala”. In the afternoon go on a guided tour to the Sinharaja Rain Forest where you will have the chance of seeing some rare species of protected fauna and flora endemic to this protected Rain Forest. Overnight at “Blue Magpie Hotel”
Day 14
Proceed to Negombo for your last nights stay, overnight at “Lavinia Hotel”.
Day 15
Transfer to Airport for departure flight.

Leave for Kandy. Day 14
Make an early start, take a picnic breakfast and leave for Horton Plains. Horton Plains in Sri Lanka, is the coldest and windiest location in the country. It consists of ecosystems such as Montane evergreen forests, grasslands, marshy lands and aquatic ecosystem. At an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level, Horton Plains spreads across over 3,169 hectares of the highest tableland of the island. In view of the large number of endemic flora and fauna species, Horton Plains was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 30th July 2010. Overnight stay at “Villa Atulya”.
Day 15
Leave for Ella by train, a ride that will show case some of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful and picturesque terrain. Ella is a small but lively little town where you can savour street food and lively activity. The afternoon is free for you to explore this little town. Overnight at “88th Ella”.
Day 16

Leave for Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka end route visiting the Dutch Galle Fort, take a look at the Dutch period Church and other buildings and the streets, some of these streets still carry typical Dutch names. Overnight at “Radisson Hotel Colombo”

Transfer to Airport for departure flight.
